Birdhouse

I took a regular cardboard box and a piece of cardboard which I bent to use as a roof. I taped the roof to the box and two triangular cardboard pieces in between. I cut a hole for the bird, covered the whole thing with white acrylic paint and waited until it dried.

My daughter painted it with finger paint using her hands and paint brushes. When paint has dried, we covered the whole thing with flower stickers. You can also use pom-poms, glitter and pretty much anything else to decorate it.

When we were done, I made a stick out of brown construction paper and glued it to the birdhouse with Elmer’s glue and we were ready to put our toy birds in their new house.
